Mohsin Sheikh, 27 years old, grew up in SOS Children's village Bhopal and pursued his higher education at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, where he completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social work. He has nine years of experience in the child protection domain, working extensively with vulnerable children and young adults.

He is currently a Project Manager at the Care Leaver Inner Circle Forum in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where he leads the CAPTAIN Program, supported by the Azim Premji Foundation. This initiative focuses on mentoring care leavers and strengthening their networks across Rajasthan. Before this, he worked for six years as a Team Member at Childline Bhopal, Program Coordinator by two years in the same role at Udayan Care in the Aftercare Outreach Program.

His commitment to care leavers' welfare led him to establish Yuva Shakti Sangathan, a care leaver network in Madhya Pradesh that advocates for their rights, growth, and development with the guidance and support of UNICEF, Udayancare and Department of Women and Child Development MP.

With expertise in child protection, program management, advocacy, and mentorship, Mohsin continues to work towards empowering young individuals who have grown up in alternative care. He is fluent in Hindi and English and actively collaborates with multiple stakeholders to drive policy-level changes for care leavers' well-being.
